I said today that I can only expect her to try her best, but that’s not even true. The only thing I can expect of anyone is that they try their best to try their best. I know that was repetitive so I’ll say it again. No one tries their best all the time. I sure as hell don’t and sometimes I backslide into the things that ruin me because it’s really, really hard not to. That’s the thing with psychological bullshit. It’s a fight every single day and I don’t think I can expect anyone to try their best every single day. It’s too much to ask. But whatever you can do, whatever I can do to help you, whatever it is that keeps you safe and healthy and okay, that’s what I expect. I expect to be a friend and to have a friend and face whatever comes with that because it’s not about saving anyone. As long as we love, we’re doing the best we can and that’s enough.
