Hi, guys. I’m Valerie and you are all following me so I feel like I should tell you some things about myself.

• I’m currently listening to The Tide Is High by Atomic Kitten all by myself.
• I should be more focused on this paper I’m writing because it’s a very difficult paper, but I’m not quite ready to knock it out yet.
• I was classically trained in vocal performance for eleven years (ages 6 to 17) and finally quit. Sometimes I wonder if that was the wrong decision.
• I like grapefruit flavored things.
• Beautiful Soul by Jesse McCartney just came on.
• I’m pretty tolerant and accepting of everyone. I don’t have to agree with everyone in order to like them as people.
• I have a sister and I love her. She’s graduating the college we attend together this spring and I don’t want her to leave because I’ll miss her very, very much, but I know she needs to start her life and that might take her far away.
• I’m an English major at the University of Florida graduating in three years. I’ll get my masters in Education (probably elementary) in my fourth year.
• I need to take care of or help people in order to be happy. I mother everyone I know.
• I like nice things and have fairly expensive taste, sadly.
• I like to run a lot.
• I have a pretty spectacular boyfriend. I love him very, very much.
• I once thought I could write, but I sort of doubt that now. I’m not good enough, you know? But I still write for fun or release. 
• Pieces of Me by Ashlee Simpson is now playing. This is a really great playlist.
• I like good music too, but I don’t take myself very seriously in any sense so music is no exception.
• I consider my blog a diary of sorts so next year, I can remember exactly how I felt today.
